Learning cool magics tricks for school was one of the best memories of my childhood. But even better was performing those cool magic tricks in school. And now I am going to introduce you to some fantastic magic for magic tricks kids that can be performed in any class (with the teacher's permission of course). These easy magic tricks for school will not only you amaze your classmates but your teacher's as well. Keep reading to learn some primary school magic tricks that will have everyone amazed.

Cool Magic Tricks for School #1 Highlighter Cap Trick

The highlighter magic trick is the perfect trick to do in class because it only requires a few seconds. In this trick, you take the cap of a highlighter (or pen) and make it vanish. Now, that's the best primary school magic trick. Well, almost the best. Making bad grades disappear might be even better than the highlighter magic trick.

Materials needed:

Highlighter or a pen with a cap

Instructions:

Before starting the highlighter magic trick, remove the cap from the highlighter and attach it to the other side.
Cover up one end of the highlighter with your left hand and the other end with your right hand so the audience cannot see either caps. The only part of the pen visible should be the middle part.
Tell your friends you will make the cap disappear.
Move your closed hand across the pen or marker with your thumbnail firmly scratching along the length of the pen. This will produce a popping sound similar to the highlighter or pen cap being pulled off the pen.
Your friends will think that the cap is in your right hand.
Open your right hand to reveal that the cap has just vanished.
Now, show them the other side of the highlighter with the cap in place.

Cool Magic Tricks for School #2 Disappearing Crayons Trick

The disappearing crayons trick is a great primary school magic trick which can even be done by kindergarteners. To do this trick properly, make sure nobody is standing behind you and you really have to prepare for it beforehand.

Materials needed :

Crayola Crayons box (8 Crayons)
Scissors
Tape or Glue
Ruler

Instructions:

To do the disappearing crayons trick you will need to take all the crayons out the crayon box.
Cut the bottoms off all the crayons with a pair of scissors.
Place them in a line, side by side and tape them up, tightly together.
Now, cut out a small window in the crayons box with the scissors. Most crayon boxes already have window on their boxes, so that you can see the crayons, but if yours doesn't, cut a nice window in the front of the box so you can see them.
After that, slide the taped up crayons inside the box and close it.
To keep the crayons up in the window, simply apply pressure with you forefinger in the back of the box. To make them vanish, quickly release the pressure so they slide down.
For performing the trick, show the crayons through the box's window to your friends. You can also open the lid with one hand and show the tops of the crayons. Continue holding the crayons with your other hand (at all times) to maintain pressure below the window. You may also switch hands for this step.
Once your friends are satisfied, put your free hand in front of the box to cover it. Release the pressure below the window and the crayons will slide down. Sometimes, it may need a little bit of shaking to move the crayons.
Remove your hand from in front of the box to show them the crayons are not there.

Cool Magic Tricks for School #3 Change Pen to Pencil Magic Trick

A simple magic trick to do at school, is the change pen to pencil magic trick. In this trick, you just take a pen and change it to a pencil or vice versa.

Materials needed:

A pen
Pencil stickers

Instructions:

Prepare for the change pen to pencil magic trick by attaching the pencil sticker a pen.
Make sure to cover only one side of the pen with the sticker, this way your pen will look like a pencil on one side and a pen on the other.
To perform the change pen to pencil magic trick, show the pen to your friends by holding it in your left hand.
Jerk your hands up in a quick motion, during which time you should flip the pen over to show the pencil side. This time you should be holding the pen with your right hand, so the audience can see the eraser.

Cool Magic Tricks for School #4 Climbing Rubber Band Trick

The climbing rubber band trick is one of many cool magic tricks for school. In this illusion, you will use the concept of reverse gravity to move a bread clip against gravity.

Materials needed :

A long rubber band
A smaller rubber band

Instructions:

Place the long rubber band inside the smaller one.
Then, take one end of the rubber band and hold it in your right hand.
Grab the other end of the rubber band in your left hand. This hand should have a relatively longer strand.
Now, stretch out the rubber band and gradually start releasing the longer strand from your left hand.
It will appear as if the rubberband is moving against gravity. Actually, the clip is in the same spot, but the elasticity of the rubber band is producing the illusion. Don't release the rubber band completely or too quickly because it will give away your secret.
